    Migrating from Ksplice to KernelCare

Hello,[br][br]In order to migrate from Ksplice to Kernel care, I uninstall ksplice but do I need to reboot to remove ksplices pateches or will uninstalling it remove the patches so I don need to reboot ?[br][br]Is Kernel Care concidered as stable as Ksplice ? I presume so but Ive got no idea if any serveur crashes were ever caused, I guess I would have heard about them if there were any.[br][br]How many servers are curretly protected by Kernel care ?

You don need to reboot to migrate, just removing ksplice patches is enough.

Is KernelCare as stable as Ksplice - hard to tell, we had 5 crashes total, 2 of them due to ksplice not being fully uninstalled (we now detect that condition in latest version)
The rest of the issues were related to when we were just starting, and were fixed.
We have kernelcare enabled on 5,000+ servers.

So to remove ksplice patches I just have to uninstall it so do I have to manuelly uninstall each patch ?

Yes, in 99% of the cases -- this is all you have to do.
We had reports that sometimes this doesn uninstall all the ksplice patches (very rare), and we detect that now.
