kernel: ioctlSnapShot: Going to freez: 8.1

    Hi,

Our Cpanel servers having CDP buagent running gives "kernel: ioctlSnapShot: Going to freez: 8.1" error in kern.log and goes un-responsive.

As per this troubleshooting doc (http://www.cloudlinux.com/docs/troubleshouting.php), we reinstalled CDP buagent, but server still went unresponsive after that. What could be the problem?

    Regards,

Is anything else after this line shows up (like kernel panic/etc...).
Also, make sure you completely removed buagent, installed it a new, and reinstalled kernel modules.

The problem is somehow related to CDP buagent -- but we are not clear how.

After that line, there are some IPTABLES logs, and then this line.

      kernel: Process accounting resumed

Will try to completely remove and reinstall the buagent. However, if this happens again, let me know what all information should I collect, which would help you understand the problem better.

      Regards,

Please, compress and send me (iseletsk@cloudlinux.com) /var/log/messages
If you see iptable lines after buagent/kernel: Process accounting resumed
-- it means that buagent finished working -- and the problem has to do with something else.
