Server failing to boot with new kernel

Weve had recent issues server failing to reboot and had to load old kernel in order to boot.

CLOUDLINUX 6.9 xen pv v68.0.29

Code:

# uname -r 2.6.32-673.26.1.lve1.4.29.el6.x86_64 # kcare-uname -r 2.6.32-896.16.1.lve1.4.51.el6.x86_64

Can you advise how to fix this, or should we wait for a patch please?
