Server failing to boot with new kernel

Weve had recent issues server failing to reboot and had to load old kernel in order to boot.

CLOUDLINUX 6.9 xen pv v68.0.29

# uname -r

2.6.32-673.26.1.lve1.4.29.el6.x86_64

# kcare-uname -r

2.6.32-896.16.1.lve1.4.51.el6.x86_64

Can you advise how to fix this, or should we wait for a patch please?
