We have a couple of cPanel servers with Eaccelerator compiled via EasyApache and thanks to CloudLinux, we detected some hungry accounts using more than 1GB of RAM.
Ive tested WP Super Cache and W3 Total Cache and found the latest uses less memory. Thing is, the way Eaccelerator is compiled via EasyApache, Eaccelerator is not shown between the different page caching methods as you can see http://cl.ly/1P44163H0B3X3p0y281f
AFAIK Eaccelerator caches everything by default, but would you advice we manually add APC to cPanel and remove Eaccelerator to be able to properly use the plugin?
This is a shared hosting server scenario, so forcing everyone to install a plugin is not an option so if APC isn able to cache everything by default, we would stick with eaccelerator nevertheless.
