Hello,
I need to install MySQL Server 5.5 on my CloudLinux machine to host databases on it, but since CloudLinux repos only has version 5.1, I need to install it from third party repo (such as Remi).
If i try the installation with yum I see it will update "mysql" and "mysql-libs" packages already present in my system, from 5.1 to 5.5. Could this cause problems to other programs?
Does anybody already installed MySql Server 5.5 on CloudLinux with success?
MySQL governor is not an option for me because I think it won be compatible with my control panel (Hosting Controller).
Thank you.
Roberto
