Hey,
Im setting up a fresh cPanel server with CloudLinux. Please note that I only need PHP 5.6 and PHP 7+, so no legacy PHP versions are required.
Here are some preliminary questions:
1. In a CageFS environment, how does mod_lsapi compare with mod_ruid2, performace/speed wise? Im tending to stick with "default cPanel stuff", but if mod_lsapi brings tangible results Ill gladly use it.
2. If I want to use mod_lsapi, do I need to install and use alt-PHP?
3. Ive installed alt-PHP and now I have a ton of duplicate PHP versions. Supposing that I want to stick only with ALT-php, how can I (should I?) remove EA-php?
Long story short: I want to use the benefits of CloudLinux (mostly CageFS and hardware limits) but I really dont know if for "modern" cPanel setups I should go with cPanel default stuff (ruid + fpm) or add mod_lsapi & alt-php as well.
Thanks
