  • LVE Monitor doesnt show any IDs

    Hello,[br][br]Im currently testing VSE+cPanel (with WHM 11.28.87) and need some assistance, please.[br][br]The installation works fine so far, but I can really see existing LVE IDs in the LVE Manager, although its possible to change default settings.[br][br][br]root@xxxx [~]# uname -a[br]Linux xxxxxxxxx.xx 2.6.18-294.26.1.el5.lve0.8.18ent #1 SMP Thu Feb 24 13:02:42 EET 2011 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux[br][br]root@xxxx [~]# rpm -qa|grep lve[br]liblve-0.8-16[br]liblve-devel-0.8-16[br]kernel-2.6.18-294.26.1.el5.lve0.8.18[br]lve-utils-0.5-20.el5.cloudlinux[br]kernel-headers-2.6.18-294.26.1.el5.lve0.8.18[br]lve-stats-0.5-8.el5.cloudlinux[br]lve-cpanel-plugin-0.1-4.el5.cloudlinux[br]cpanel-lve-0.2-8.el5.cloudlinux[br]lve-0.8-16[br]kernel-ent-2.6.18-294.26.1.el5.lve0.8.18[br]cpanel-lvemanager-0.3-2.el5.cloudlinux[br][br]root@xxxx [~]# /etc/init.d/httpd -M|grep hosting[br]Syntax OK[br] hostinglimits_module (shared)[br][br]Thank you! Hello,

not yet, I ordered a trial license yesterday.

      Its suPHP.

      root@xxxx [~]# cat /proc/lve/list
4:LVE EP lCPU lIO CPU MEM IO lMEM lEP nCPU fMEM fEP
      0 0 20 25 0 0 0 262144 20 1 0 0
      123 0 10 25 5400 0 0 262144 20 1 0 0

      Thanks for your short reply!
      Mario

If you don have live traffic -- it is the reason you don see anything in lve manager
Try to install some site/php for it, and hit it via browser.
        It should show up.
Also, the first page of LVE Manager is real time, so you would need to refresh the browser window for that site/php to make it appear there.

          Hi Igor,

          oops - Thanks, Ill try.

Just for my understanding: If I create a new User Account in WHM, LVE creates automatically a new LVE-ID?

          Thanks,
          Mario

LVEs are created on the fly, once some php script or cgi script executed for the user.
LVE ID will match user id.

Update: It works like a charm, thank you.

But I still have one question left: Is there a frontend for MySQL Governor on cPanel? The Utilities (eg. dbtop) works fine here, but it would be nice to check & put a limit on VSE/SQL DBs.

              Thanks again.

not yet. Once we push it into production (about 2 months from now), we will start working on cPanel UI for it.

                  Hi,

Do you have an ETA on when a frontend for MySQL Governor would be released?
