    Hello,

    I am trying to update our cloudlinux using yum -y update and got this:

    ================================================== ================================================== ================================================== =================
    Package Arch Version X Repository X Size
    ================================================== ================================================== ================================================== =================
    Installing:
    kernel x86_64 2.6.18-374.3.1.el5.lve0.8.44 cloudlinux-x86_64-server-5 21 M
    Removing:
    kernel x86_64 2.6.18-264.11.1.el5.17.cloudlinux installed X 100 M

    Transaction Summary
    ================================================== ================================================== ================================================== =================
    Install 1 Package(s)
    Upgrade 0 Package(s)
    Remove 1 Package(s)
    Reinstall 0 Package(s)
    Downgrade 0 Package(s)

    Total download size: 21 M

    I decided to cancel, because new kernel only 21 MB and trying remove old kernel with size 100 MB.

    Should I say yes to upgrade kernel ?

    Thank you

      Yes, the old kernel you have is very old, and has some of the components that are not needed at all (hence such a big size)

        dear Igor,

        Thank you very much. I realize that we are using 2.6.18-338.9.1.el5.lve0.8.32 and removing the oldest kernel in grub.conf after we upgrade it.

        Thank you

        LS
