Hello Nuno,
yes, you are right, you need just to run the # yum install memcached , to enable memcached and memcache package with needed options and needed PHP version.Leave a comment:

Hi!
I know i have to enable the php extensions... I think i have to install something on the system CentOS/Cloudlinux right?
What commands do i have to run?
What i have seen on other forums is that i have to run "yum install memcached". I that enough? Do i need to enable anything else or for Cloudlinux is enough to enable the php extensions and it simply works?

Installings and enabling memcached
Hi!
I have CentOS Cloudlinux with CageFS and php selector with mod_lsapi on my server.
I only have opcache enabled and i have mainly joomla and wordpress websites.
Can you help me and give me some guidance on how to install memcached?
Do i need to enable both modules in php (memcache and memcached)?
