I have a VPS that I moved everything off of about a month ago. I turned it off and cancelled the cloudlinux license. I want to use it again under a different hostname. Is there a problem with me just turning it back on, reactivating the license, letting it update, and then changing the hostname? Am I asking for problems or should I wipe and reinstall the whole thing?

You can definitely turn it back on and reactivate your CloudLinux license without wiping the system. If license is still active the process is same as a regular activation. We don't rely on hostname, so feel free to change it whenever you need.
