  • MySQL / db_governor / abuse question

Normally a few servers are running like this:

    [--] Up for: 2d 7h 51m 39s (16M q [82.992 qps], 1M conn, TX: 5025B, RX: 4B)
    [--] Up for: 24d 23h 26m 58s (121M q [56.310 qps], 2M conn, TX: 1004B, RX: 30B)

but I got a few ones like this:

    [--] Up for: 44d 6h 19m 55s (1B q [401.366 qps], 9M conn, TX: 2415B, RX: 169B)

    and even worse

    [--] Up for: 2d 4h 26m 24s (165M q [879.055 qps], 820K conn, TX: 155B, RX: 19B)

Is there a way to check queries per second per user so I could possibly sort them out and find which ones are hammering / raping the system ?

    Hello,

governor hasn now ability to check queries per second per user. But if you use governor with cPanel you can activate experimantal mode "Always run queries inside users LVE" this can slow abusers queries.

This mode available only for cPanel now.
