i have this error :

Where is it happening? What was done with enabled MySQL Governor, any mysql versions changes? What mysql version is currently used? And, is native PHP used or alternate for problematic account?

Yeah, the core of the issue is due to MariaDB used, and not mysql5.5 as you said. How did you install it? With governor or with cpanel WHM service?

Now, the recommended solution from MariaDB is to start using mysqlnd driver: https://mariadb.com/kb/en/mariadb/in...ues-with-php5/

We have customers seeing this same problem. We are not running MySQL Governor or MariaDB.

The only solution we have found is to run: /usr/bin/alt-php-mysql-reconfigure

Scott, is this happening to alternate PHP version only? I suppose somethign went wrong with symlinks to mysql libraries.

If this issue happens to anyone other in future:

Plase save following information for us:

ls -la /opt/alt/php*/usr/lib*/php/modules/mysql*.so > /root/alt-php-mysql-libs.txt

Then run /usr/bin/alt-php-mysql-reconfigure to fix it, and after that create a ticket at https://helpdesk.cloudlinux.com and provide cldoctor report. We are interesting to find why is this happening originally.
