Hello, I currently have CloudLinux with cPanel in a single volume. However, I would like to separate this volume into 2. One volume would be for the CloudLinux system with cPanel and another volume would be for user accounts (emails, website, files, etc.).
Would that be possible or would we have some kind of problem about it?
Separating cPanel from CloudLinux using partitions would be an involved process that I would not recommend. cPanel is a complicated suite of tools installed on almost all of the second-level directory (aka the folders after /). Its not impossible, but you would need to juggle ten or twenty partitions to make this work. This configuration would be brittle and easy to break too.
