    3ware 9750

Hello, Im building a new server which includes a Sandy Bridge motherboard and CPU. I also have 3ware 9750-4i, does CloudLinux support that out of the box?

    Hello,

Sandybridge chipset sata controller is supported in AHCI mode, so you should switch it to AHCI before installing. As for other Sandybridge chipset devices and CPU, they are supported out of the box.

We aso have 3ware driver compiled into the latest cloudlinux kernel. If you install CentOS using driver disk provided by LSI and then convert it to CloudLinux using centos2cl, it will work.

      Thank you very much.

Do you recommend installing my server with the ISO from your mirror or use the official CentOS iso and then convert to CL?

When will you have 5.6 isos ready?

Id recommend installing CentOS then converting to CloudLinux since the conversion doesn take very long anyways.
