I received notification of the WP File Manager bug from Wordfence on Sept. 1. I immediately updated all instances across our servers - 6 in total and a couple we dont host and then I disabled them and removed completely from a couple of sites.
The bad guys got in before that on one site however and had a party. Imunify automatically cleaned more than 8000 infected files Aug. 29-30!
