  • Can cpanel reseller search and remove IP from gray/blacklist?

We use cpanel. Is it possible for a reseller to use the Imunify WHM control panel to search and remove IP?

So if this feature is enabled, the reseller could login to their WHM, go into Imunify360, and search for specific gray/blacklist IP. If found, then they can unblock it.

This ability will prevent many of our resellers from having to contact server admin for support to remove IP that is blocked when their customer fails email login too many times...

    Thanks.

    Hello,
In this case, this is only for the root account. And from the point of view of Imunify reseller is a regular user without the possibility of admin access to the Imunify panel. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask here.
    Thank you.

      Ok, thanks.

It would be nice to add this as a new feature. (We receive many reseller support requests to ask if their customer IP is blacklisted.)

      1. WHM reseller can enter Imunify360 plugin and see "search for IP address in gray and black lists."

      2. If search for IP is successfull, then reseller can remove the IP address from the list where IP is located.

Im not exactly sure how Imunify360 moves IP from gray list to black list, so perhaps it is better to only allow reseller to remove IP from gray list and NOT black list. (Or perhaps this should be a configurable admin option so admin can choose if reseller should be allowed to remove IP from both gray list AND black list, or if only gray list and NOT black list.)

      Thanks.

We have noticed its possible to allow WHM Resellers access to Imunify360, but if done so, they gain access to ROOT specific features, like removing local and group scope IPs, and perform unwanted settings changes.

Would it be possible to limit WHM Reseller to only ADD IP whitelist, and REMOVE IP blacklist ?
