    can i change mysql version in cpanel ?

    Hello
    i need to ask something...

    i am using cpanel with mysql governor

    i need to change the mysql server to percona56

    is it possible to do it in cpanel ? via mysqlgovernor ?
    if so .. how to change it ?
    another thing:

    " is there any way to reinstall mariadb 10.3 via mysqlgovernor in cpanel ? "

    will be waiting for replies.

      what im trying to ask is that , will i lose data while changing mysql version ?

      and can i shift from Mariadb 10.3 to percona56 ?

        Hello Zeeshan,
        Most likely it will work fine on the new server. But at work, we do not recommend it, since it will be dangerous and you may need to transfer users and the database manually.
