  • How to upgrade Apache version if using PHP Selector?

    Hello,

If we are using PHP Selector, how do we upgrade to newer Apache version? (Currently running apache 2.2 and want to upgrade to 2.4.)

Does it matter what settings we select in cpanel easyapache for PHP, since it isnt used? (We have disabled "native" in the PHP Selector settings screen in LVE Manager.)

    Thanks.

I suggest contacting Cloudlinux helpdesk to make sure.

From what I have understood from the way it works, you should be able to update apache choosing any PHP options you want , these options will be used for the native version.

Make sure however you do select the right mod for running PHP, I bleieve fcgid at the moment. And then when its stable (or before if you don mind beta) you can try enabeling laspi

Once you have updated run cagefsctl --force-update to make sure users get everything they need.

Do check with support though before running this as I have not personally tested changing Apache version yet.
