LVE Inodes Limits and grace period calculation

  • #2
Good afternoon (For all of you in my time zone!

We are big user and lover of CloudLinux (Using CageFS, LVE and PHP Selector on all our share hosting server)... (By the way, big thank you Igor for creating CloudLinux!)

We are now lokking into the opssibility of dropping the cPanel WebDisk quota and using the LVE inodes limitation. But before changiong our settings, I have two question.
On the LVE inodes pages, the following is mentionned : "The grace period can be set using: edquota -t". Does this mean that I can set the grace period directly in SSH, EX " # edquota -t 1440" ? If so, is the time measure in minutes, seconde, etc...

Finally, is there a warning sent tu the user when he goes above the Solf limit so he could correct the situation quickly?

    Thank you for your response!

And please, continue development on this great and afordable project!

Hi, and thanks for kind words, really appreciate it.

Saying truth our inode implementation use system inodes in linux standard way, so yes edquita will work here.
About inode warnings - customers will not get any notifications when soft limit reached.
