    OptimumCache 0.3-3 increases load

Immediately after updating OptimumCache to 0.3-3, the load on the server roughly doubled. It has been running about 50% to 100% higher than normal. Normal is 0.7 average and it has been averaging > 1 since the update.

Also, on lvetop, I see most users showing 1% to +/- 20% in the SPEED column. Normally, SPEED shows 0% for most users.

I/0, MEM and CPU are all up significantly for user sync.

OptimumCache scans disks and yes it increase system load. Nothing wrong here as it should be back to normal after some time. You can check indexing job status with at -l at any time.

There is no indexing job -- at -l shows no jobs.

I updated 11 hours ago and the increase in load was immediate. Load continues to rise and is now about 3x normal.

Seems like this is a recurring issue with OptimumCache. What is the immediate impact on the server if I remove OptimumCache? Is it going to hammer the server during removal?
