Cant get FreeType 2.4.11 out of php 5.3

I have CloudLinux for cPanel. Im needing php 5.3 with GD Library 2.1.0 and Free Type Library 2.2.1

When I set php to 5.3 it has GD Library in 2.1.0 which is great but FreeType is in 2.4.11

Are there any advanced methods I can use to maybe get Free Type to 2.4.11?

Hello,

I worry Free Type Library 2.2.1 is pretty old, dated 2006 ! Most probably it will not be possible to provide downgraded version with it, whole PHP53 had to be recompiled.

But why do you need it? Arent there any alternatives?
