  • log_errors option being ignored

In cPanel > Select PHP Version > PHP Options, the log_errors setting is set to Off, yet the site continues to log errors to /home/user/public_html/error_log

When I view a phpinfo() in /home/user/public_html/, it shows log_errors as Off.

Additional data: we are using mod_lsapi, and this customer has PHP version 7.0 selected.

What else can I look for, to stop error logging for this user? (by their request)

Did this ever get resolved for you. I am having the same issue. I am using PHP 7.2 with cPanel and CloudLinux 6.9. I have tried turning off log_errors in cpanel, .htaccess, and php.ini.
