From what Ive understood, mysqlgoverner is quite stable and is just missing the statistics integration in the cPanel plugin before getting the stable tag.

Before you install it (Ive already got it running on one of my servers without any visable issues) lets wait for a member of CloudLinux staff to answer

This is correct. We want to create UI before we will push it to production.

is it safe to install the current version then upgrade to the new one ?

It is safe to install on DA servers.
We will first release UI for cPanel, followed by DA, Plesk & others.
