In sep 24 I had an hosting account at TMD who ran a CloudLinux installation that was a few versions back. I started to build a website on a 2 CPU/4GB hotel. But from the beginning I had problems with timeouts and 508 & 404 errors so I completely gave up building the site.
I contacted support and it took me a month to convince them something was wrong. After recognizing the problem they investigated and found a bug in CloudLinux, reported it and it was fixed immediately so the next day I had a hotel that actually worked.
Now I'm at another host where I am beginning to see the same problems. Not nearly as much but enough to demand attention. They run a newer version of CL. BUT at 3-5% CPU and 20% ram usage the hotel starts page faulting and everything stops with timeout errors. Maybe it is the same bug. Or maybe it is an LVE limitation on IO op EP set too low...
