Yum update

update kernel / update openssl

Today I try to update openssl (23 / 03 / 15 - security patch) and no any packages available.
when run "yum update" it says that I using old kernel

Can I update kernel without restart and without fear of crash server via "yum update" ? When openssl patch will be available for cloudlinux repos ?

Its not right to update kernel but not reboot, actually it will do nothing as old kernel will be running with already loaded (old) libraries. If you have some troubles booting kernel after update please create a ticket and we will help you.

Openssl update is already released and is available with yum update openssl , needed version is "1.0.1e-30.el6_6.7" .
