    Kernel panic after fresh install.

    This hasn happend to me before.

    Just installed CL on a fresh cPanel v.56 server (reformated to Ext4). After install finished and reboot the server didn come back on, kernel panicking, Noc installed a CentOS kernel. I installed CL again and did e grub> savedefault --default=0 --once and rebooted.
    Same problem, the server doesn come back up.

    Any advice what I should do before rebooting next time?

    I have had this happen twice and it was fixed in an extremely odd way and still don know until this day why or how. When this happened to me I booted the server into rescue mode with the intent to go check logs and configs. But the logs yielded nothing and configs were all correct. After booting back into normal mode the server mysteriously came online and worked fine.

        Support fixed it: "Hello,

        initramfs file was missed for some reason. Ive reinstalled kernel package, your server should boot fine now."

          With kernel post-install scriptlets we do check if initramfs exists, if not we show a message it is missing. Also, we check some other important things like menu.lst, grub.conf, symlinks..

          But strange issue happened originally, what is /boot/ disk space usage?
