Looking info from people that have Hybrid Kernel and CL8 Kernel on older servers.
I have tried to install Hybrid 7 kernel on my cl7 OS and it will not boot. CL support has been great in working on it with me it seems my Controler and Hard Drives are the issues.
I have an Intel 2x X5650 with 48 Gigs Memory, 960 Gig SSD Drive is the main, and SATA 1 TB is the Backup drive.
After several tries to make it work it seems the Hardware is too Old.
I have been looking for higher priced newer servers and they are out of my price range.

What I would like to know is anyone running Hybrid kernel or CL8 on their budget servers like the
    Intel 2x L5630
    * Intel 2x X5650 Mine
    Intel E3-1220 v2
    Intel E3-1220 v3
    Intel i3-2100
    Intel i5-3570K
    Intel i5-4430
    Intel i5-4440
    Intel i7-2700K
    Intel i7-3770
    Intel i7-4790K

Preferably the dual CPU ones but feedback on any is good

    Thanks

      Thanks, I already have a ticket since April 20, 2020, 09:29 ticket #85257
Cloudlinux developers and support staff have been great. they are trying to write in the driver for the HD and Controller. but so far no luck. At this point, I was thinking of switching to a newer board server, but prices are out of this world.
I was trying to see if any users of CL8 were using any of these Boards but if the developers know the answer even better.

It seems tI found out the server had a mezzanine LSI controller added on and now it has been removed.
I sent a message to the team working on my ticket to try it now that its on the built-in controller.
