  • Mounting storage on secondary node for read+write

    cagefs, nfs, scale

  • #2
Is there any way that I can have two CloudLinux nodes, where node B is mounting storage from node A via for example NFS?
The data needs to be read- and writeable on both nodes and therefore file permissions in cagefs needs to be maintained.

It depends what is the idea after that all, if you just want to mount home from another server you really could do it over NFS but on source server you even do not need CloudLinux OS .

However if you want to run web service on both servers with same home directory shared then you really need CL on both servers, and actually I would recommend using glusterfs for such purpose.
