    Multiple Errors on Yum Update

    Hello all,

    Last try in posting this. Seems this forum really doesnt like me posting code, even when using the code tags! Or...it has a post text count number which is doesnt show...annoying!! So...I will split the error.

    We are trying to update a CL 6.7 x86_64 dedicated server running WHM. getting the following errors via SSH:

    Code:
    Error: Package: transcode-1.1.5-2.el6.rf.x86_64 (@dag)

Requires: libMagickWand.so.2()(64bit)

Removing: ImageMagick-6.5.4.7-7.el6_5.x86_64 (@cloudlinux-x86_64-serv  er-6)

Updated By: ImageMagick-6.7.2.7-2.el6.x86_64 (cloudlinux-x86_64-serve  r-6)

You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem

You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest

      Hi,

      I believe el6.rf.x86_64 in package names means they has been installed with rpmforge repos, please enable this repo again and try to update again.

        Do you know why this has changed? Weve not had to add/enable different repos on any other CL server.

          I believe you did... maybe long time ago that repo has been add just for package install time. You may try to search for packages in /var/log/yum :

          grep transcode /var/log/yum.log*

            The output is this:

            So, only shows last install last month.

              If so you should remember how it was installed, or rpmforge repo is disabled in /etc/yum.repos.d/ ?

              Anyway, I am sure to fix the original issue you have to activate rpmforge repost: https://wiki.centos.org/AdditionalRe...c0ae92d1398e01
