What is most recent Redis version supported by the distribution?

My sysadmin told me we are running Redis 3.2.12 because of the following:

    > As this is the latest provided by the distribution (CLOUDLINUX 7.9), which doesnt use the latest branch, it uses the most stable it has and backports security fixes. You should always stay on the version provided by the distribution as its actively maintained and will get updates.

Can you please confirm this? Why CloudLinux doesnt support a more recent Redis version?

    Hi,

We do not provide Redis as part of our distribution - you can install it the same way you would do it in CentOS. However, our PHP extensions do support Redis - please see https://blog.cloudlinux.com/beta-alt...-1609157347558 as an example.
