Hi,
We are running Plesk 12.5.30 Update #48+Cloudlinux 7.2. We have a big banker customer ask us to turn on selinux feature to meet their security policy.
I have reviewed my system with sestatus:
> SELinux status: disabled
but my /etc/selinux/config looks like configured it as on:
> # This file controls the state of SELinux on the system.
> # SELINUX= can take one of these three values:
> # enforcing - SELinux security policy is enforced.
> # permissive - SELinux prints warnings instead of enforcing.
> # disabled - No SELinux policy is loaded.
> SELINUX=enforcing
> # SELINUXTYPE= can take one of three two values:
> # targeted - Targeted processes are protected,
> # minimum - Modification of targeted policy. Only selected processes are protected.
> # mls - Multi Level Security protection.
> SELINUXTYPE=targeted
How can I enable selinux feature with Cloudlinux? -

Hello Kailasha,
Yes, you are right, you can enable SELinux in this way, but at the same time, the functionality of CloudLinux functions is impairing. And we turn it off and do not recommend turning it on, because this can affect the stable operation of the server.
Thank you.Comment
