Migrating to CL on live server

We are considering migrating to CloudLinux on our servers. But I want to know if we will be able to do an inplace upgrade of a live server, and that it won screw up our systems

Server 1 running Interworx and R1Soft CDP 3.0 Enterprise Agent.
Server 2 running Interworx and R1Soft CDP 3.0 Enterprise Server.

We also Have maldet and mod_evasive installed on both servers.
We where planing to start with testing on server 2, since thats less populated, but as we are running the cdp server, we just want to see that it wont mess up the system.

It should be fine -- just make sure you re-install R1soft module (r1soft-setup ....)

Ok, should I uninstall R1soft first then, perhaps?

And are there tools like maldet and mod_evasive already in CL? or do I need to keep them as well?

No need to uninstall R1soft, and just use maldet/mod_evasive from same sources as before.
