  • New PHP handler by CloudLinux?

It was mentioned but is it real?

  • #2
    In the following post: http://cloudlinux.com/blog/clnews/di...p-selector.php
Igor said that there is a new PHP handler coming from Cloudlinux.

We all know the disadvantages of the current PHP handlers so is the above statement true?
And if so - can we have more information about the features of the new handler?

    Regards.

I think (from what I have read) it will be based on litespeeds lsapi php version.

Litespeed has got two deamon modes, one optimised for all instances being forked from the same instance and the second having one instance per user (needs alot more memory but is better for opcode caching).

Litespeeds PHP is faster than php-fpm and has doesn have the disadvantages other PHP handlers have.

Our version is based on per user version, as we need it to work correctly with PHP selector.
