  • This forum software is aggravating

I dont how many times Ive posted something or a reply only to discover it didnt post.

And please, can you remove the "We use cookies to ensure you get.....bla bla" message. I try to login and cant only to realize I need to click "I agree" for the 30th time. How many times do I have to agree?

Thanks for listening to my rant. Lets hope this posts first time.

    Hi Glenn,

First of all, thanks for bringing this up to our attention. I am so sorry for the inconvenience. We are looking into a possible glitch with replies - all replies should be allowed to post unless it has some "spam" words (possibly accidentally).

Regarding cookies message: if you disabled cookies on your browsers, or use some security software that does that, then the message will appear every time. We use cookies on our site, otherwise, it wont work sufficiently (hence, the message). It also depends on it to remember you for the next 30 days - it if does, it wont repeat until after 30 days. If you definitely know this is not the case, kindly let me know.

    Many thanks!
    Inna

I think the "We use cookies to ensure you get.....bla bla" is enforced by the law, although it can be saved that you have already agreed in a simple cookie.
About posting, I just had the same problem.

I was also trying to make the login process successfully but that was not happening. I have also cleared the cookies and cache files but that did not help it also. What should I do?

I agree.. its horrible and Ive been around since the BBS days( this forum also is slow as a BBS at 300baud!) Its confusing because I had to sign up for an account up top and that isnt linked to the forum. So I had to sign up again then it didnt post the first time even anonymously but gave no errors or warnings.

Very frustrating to navigate to just communicate. Anyway /whining off
