  • Where do email go after inode limit is reached?

    So for example, a cPanel user reaches soft / hard inode limit and they can no longer create email account(s) or even receive email. What happens to the email? Are the emails added to a queue, bounced or what?

    Hello @Webmaster,

    You can configure how Dovecot will respond when a system disk quota or mailbox disk quota prevents delivery with the following option in WHM >> Mailserver Configuration:

    Disk Quota Delivery Failure Response

    The default behavior is to reject the message permanently. Let me know if you have any questions about how this works.
