Does Enhanced DOS Protection work when CSF activated?

Hi!
Enhanced DoS Protection is a feature of Imunify360 itself, and it works independently of whether CSF is enabled on the server. So yes, it will continue to function even if CSF is active.

That said, CSF also has its own mechanisms for handling connection limits and rate-based blocking, which can provide similar protection. However, the two systems are not identical:

• Imunify360 Enhanced DoS Protection focuses on protecting web services by automatically detecting and blocking abusive request patterns. See https://docs.imunify360.com/dashboar...dos-protection
• CSF/LFD includes general firewall rules and connection limits (e.g., CONNLIMIT, PORTFLOOD), which you can configure for DoS-like scenarios.

If you’re already running Imunify360 with Enhanced DoS Protection enabled, you don’t need to rely on CSF for the same task, but the two can complement each other.
