Curious why the above is CLI only proposition, and disabled by default? I'd like to see it fully exposed in my WHM UI :-)

We're a little hesitant to make changes and enable this by default for new installations since it was considered experimental. We usually keep such features as a 'hidden option in the CLI' only.

What we can do is allow a UI for it, but we would need an 'official' feature request from you at https://imunify360.com/feedback/.

How well does it work for you?โ€‹

I've submitted the feedback form, thanks.

fyi: One of the sites I look after, on a dedicated VPS, is being permanently hammered by thousands of bots per hour. But these hits are distributed across a huge number of different IPs, therefore blocking individual IPs is very ineffective, and blocking IP ranges is possible but risks collateral damage.

Therefore anything that can help to provide a 'smarter' defense against thIs type of attack profile is much appreciated - and preferably via a UI.
