  • IPv6 IPs in Blacklist

    Does IM360 allow me to add IPv6 IPs to blacklist? I tried manually adding IPv6 to blacklist and got a Invalid address net. error message.

    I tried adding this: 2001:41d0:52:300::1d

    Thanks

    Hello Glenn!

    Can you open a support ticket https://cloudlinux.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new so we can take a closer look at your system? You can post the ticket number here and well link this thread to it.

    Thank you.

      Imunify360 blocks ipv6 /64 networks.
      In ipv6, the first 64 bits define a node (basically a device: desktop, cellphone, VM) while the second 64 bits are used for routing inside the node.
      You can try to add 2001:41d0:52:300::/64 instead.

      Well improve UI validation messages and will probably add some logic to handle this case better (e.g. accept /128, but block the whole /64 and display a message).
