What does the "Signature" of the Malware in a wordpress system mean? How can i check what the malware has done or wants to do?

Thank you for reaching out! In computer security terminology, a signature is a typical footprint or pattern associated with a malicious attack on a computer network or system. Identifying malicious threats and adding their signatures to a repository is the primary technique used by antivirus products.
Imunify360 has its own malware signature database that is constantly updated. When Imunify Malware Scanner detects a file contacting malware, the scanner result will also include the signature that will describe the malware type found.
