mod_security and EP

Just wondering, if I use mod_security for blocking bad agents, when they scan my domains, will those scanning create concurrent connections, known as EP limit? Currently, no block, so my domains are facing many times EP limit warnings.

Well yes, the mod_security likely is going to block all connections to apache (not VHost) so it should not count toward EP limit for any LVE.
