cPanel Plugin Still Needed?

Im wondering if the cPanel LVE Manager Plugin is still needed

I previously installed the cPanel LVE Manager Plugin in order to give myself a visual interface within WHM. I see now that the LVE Manager is listed under Server Configuration in WHM, and there are more options. I assume this happened with an upgrade.

I still have the LVE Manager listed under plugins from when I installed it before. My question is, do I still need the plugin I installed several months ago? Should I uninstall it?

Starting with cPanel 11.30, the plugin is not needed, to remove it:
# yum remove cpanel-lvemanager
