Cant disable Opcache

In LVE Manager > PHP Selector when editing the modules for PHP version 5.5 and 5.6. I can untick the tick box for Opcache and then save, but each time, the box is ticked again afterwrds. This problem doesnt happen with 7.0 or 7.1 - but with 5.5 and 5.6 it is impossible to disable this module. Can you confirm if this is intended behaviour?
