  • Run Cloud Linux Test Mode

    Hi,

We are evaluating cloud linux and would like to migrate all our plesk(Centos 5) servers over to cloud.

However we would like to run the servers under cloud without actually imposing the limits but rather just logging. Ie determine how many sites would actually be blocked due to over-utilization to keep customer impact as low as possible.

Is there a quick fire way to do this, just running logging and monitoring, without blocking sites for overusage?

You could do this by simply raising the default limits. Example, the default memory limit is 1GB so raise it to 4GB or more.
Same with cpu limits, just change the default # of cores from 1 to say 4, and cpu % from 25 to 50. Its highly unlikely anyone client would reach those heights!
