    Hello,

The file mysql-bin.[index] keeps a list of all binary logs mysqld has generated and auto-rotated. The mechanisms for cleaning out the binlogs in conjunction with mysql-bin.[index] described here:
I have MM Replication in mysql, and I want to squeeze some free space in the box be deleting unnecessary files, I came across these mysql-bin files inside /var/db/mysql/ There are hundreds of those...

In the current path, I have folders called databases, which are natural. I do not think these folders fill space.
But I have more than 180 files in this direction with a total of 1024 megabytes
    Why are these files made?!
These files fill a lot of space on my server

    Hello,

/usr/share/cagefs-skeleton/var/lib/mysql is not a copy of /var/lib/mysql. /var/lib/mysql is just mounted to /usr/share/cagefs-skeleton, as it is indicated as a mount point in /etc/cagefs/cagefs.mp file.

You can find more info in this doc section.

    We also have a server
Hard drive with low volume nvme
    We have the same problem.

    /usr/share/cagefs-skeleton/var/lib/mysql

The mysql path over 100 gigabytes of hard drive space

Sorry but i did not understand.
    So what does that mean?

    Code:
    du -sh /usr/share/cagefs-skeleton/var/lib/mysql

    148G	/usr/share/cagefs-skeleton/var/lib/mysql
    Code:
    du -sh /var/lib/mysql/

    148G	/var/lib/mysql/

    Hello,

MySQL databases are not copied to CageFS skeleton, /var/lib/mysql is just mounted inside it.

You might want to move your MySQL datadir to another partition with more free space: https://cloudlinux.zendesk.com/hc/en...ql-data-folder
